Welcome to the After School Reading Club for Adults!
Want to talk about what you’re reading, set reading goals, celebrate reading milestones and enjoy some book-related fun such as ‘reading bingo’ and ‘bookmark confessions’? if so, then this reading club is for you.
In a world full of screens, deadlines and digital noise, the After School Reading Club for Adults is your monthly reminder to hit pause, pick up a book (with pages!), and remember how much fun reading can be!
This isn’t your traditional book club. There’s no assigned homework, no mandatory reading list. Instead, it is a playful, supportive community space designed to help you reconnect with the simple joy of pages, print, and real human connection.
What makes this book club different:
Bring your own book. You read entirely at your own pace and choose whatever genre you like – from thrillers to sci-fi, non-fiction to poetry.
Book related fun. There will be discussion, there will be laughter, and even some interactive games. Look forward to filling out custom reading bingo cards, collecting stickers for reading progress and participating in games such as ‘bookmark confessions’ to anonymously share and laugh about some of our real-life (unique) reading habits.
A true digital detox. Leave the scrolling behind. This is a dedicated, analog space to give your eyes and break from devises and immerse yourself in a community of fellow book lovers.
Whether you are a life-long bookworm, or trying to get back into reading after a long break, there is a seat at the table for you. Bring your current read and join us for the best kind of after-school activity!
