Pizza not Pipelines: Trivia Game Night

May 14 @ 6:30 pm 8:30 pm

1. Do you like pizza (who doesn’t)?
2. Do you like to play trivia games (‘like’ may be strong word)?
3. Are you sick of the fossil fuel industry getting away with creating and perpetuating the climate crisis (hell, yes!)?

If you answered yes to at least one of these questions, this FREE and FUN event may be for you! Nanaimo Climate Action Hub is excited and grateful to host: Pizza Not Pipelines: Toxic Trivia Game Night, sponsored by 350.org.

75% of Canadians are worried or very concerned about climate change (Re.Climate, Feb 2026). When it comes to recruiting people to the climate movement here in Nanaimo, we know we’ve barely scratched the surface.

Challenge: Nanaimo Climate Action friends and members — you know we love you, BUT we need your help recruiting new people to the movement!

To register to attend this event you must bring at least one other person who has never attended an NCAH event. Ask a neighbour, a co-worker, someone from school or church. Easy!

In addition to free pizza, they’re going to want to come because… Big Oil billionaires and their political allies are trying to persuade us that fossil fuels are a source of stability and growth.

But we know that new fossil fuel expansion only offers short term profits for the powerful few – while unleashing death, destruction, and skyrocketing energy bills for the many.

Enough is enough. Our communities deserve the truth.

Register today for a great evening of pizza, non-alcoholic bevs, and a game of TOXIC TRIVIA: Busting Big Oil propaganda – one game at a time.

When: Thursday, May 14th 6:30 – 8:30

Where: My Inner Harbour, 149 Wallace St, Nanaimo
