After-Work Hangout: Financial Self-Care

  • 8 Apr 2025

Step into a relaxed space to unwind after work!

Learn how to plan a “money date” to start building your financial confidence and well-being. Group activity starts at 6:15 PM.

Just as going to the gym supports your physical health and pursuing a hobby supports your mental health, spending time to regularly review your finances is a way to support your financial health.

A “money date” isn’t just about numbers—it’s about creating space to check in with yourself, reassess your financial situation, and make decisions that support the life you want. Small steps, taken consistently over time, will help you develop greater confidence and ease around money.

We’ll incorporate elements of self-reflection and introduce a dash of fun to this topic as we share tips on budgeting, habit tracking, goal-setting, and ongoing learning. Leave with a few low-pressure financial self-care habits you can start immediately, even if you’re in a financially uncertain phase.

This session will be facilitated by:

  • Binisha Giri — a certified financial consultant with close to a decade of experience helping individuals, families, and small businesses across Canada with financial and investment planning. Her passion is to help people become richer by providing transparent, unbiased guidance as an advice-only consultant.
  • Crystal Lee — a holistic career coach, workshop leader, and the host of The After Work Hangout podcast. Crystal has been hosting community-building events for over 10 years, sharing her superpower of facilitating supportive and insightful conversations
